A workshop titled: “Financial Inclusion as a veritable tool for Building Resilience of Rural Households” is organized by the Advancing Local Leadership Innovation and Networks (ALL-IN) program under the ongoing project designed to improve and transform smallholders’ farmer resilience and access to the output market through adoption of appropriate practices that increase resilience to shocks and expand access to e-commerce and finance.

This project has brought on board key stakeholders that are relevant to the attainment of the project goals. As one of the mandates of the project in building the capacity of stakeholders on resilience, the project thus organized this workshop specifically for the farmers and extension workers as a way of promoting their collaborative effort towards the project goals. The focus of the workshop is to enlightened the stakeholders on the components of financial inclusion which include access to credit, savings, insurance and the implications of proper record keeping in the present-day agricultural production activities.
